BERLIN, 09 JUN 2009 — Canto®attended last week’s Henry Stewart DAM Symposium in New York, where Canto representatives demonstrated recently released Cumulus 8 digital asset management system, and welcomed guest speaker, Jens Polkowski, of Lufthansa.
Polkowski spoke to attendees and analysts about his company’s success with Cumulus, which he describes as “exactly what Lufthansa needed” in a new case study available now at the Canto website.
Canto personnel on hand included CEO Ulrich Knocke, who was recently featured in an indepth interview published by Palgrave Macmillan Journals. The interview primarily focuses on new capabilities in Cumulus 8, offering insights into the philosophies and strategies behind many of the program’s new technologies.
“This was our first opportunity to show Cumulus 8 at a show of this size, and we couldn’t be happier with the response!” explained Knocke. “Cumulus users, like the American Red Cross and Newsday, came out to see Cumulus 8, and they really liked what they saw. People who see Cumulus 8 in action really understand that this is so much more than just a DAM system upgrade.”
Industry analysts saw Cumulus 8 ahead of time, enabling them to reference during numerous panel discussions the product line’s new capabilities, and the effect Cumulus 8 is poised to have on the DAM industry as a whole.
