With its Sony-level image quality and streaming capabilities the YoloCam S7 was well received… but one thing was missing: a lens allowing an easy out-of-the-box experience. Meet the YoloLiv 18mm F1.4 M43‑mount lens.

Designed to mee the needs of creators who struggle to find a camera that offers cinematic quality and streaming convenience, the YoloCam S7 is a 4K60 MFT streaming camera with interchangeable lens & instantaneous autofocus, which, the company says, is simple yet powerful for streaming. While the concept is good and the compatibility with Micro Four Thirds lenses is an asset – YoloLiv even suggests two Panasonic Lumix lenses, 18 and 25mm, to pair with it – users wanted to be able to buy the camera with lens, as many users found it challenging to source the right Micro Four Thirds (MFT) lens to match their needs.

The company listened and tried to build a solution. First YoloLiv introduced a new 4K webcam, YoloCam S3, which proved to be a significant success in the market, with its ultra-Large 1/1.28″ CMOS and a focal length of 24 mm and an f/1.85 aperture, tailor-made for desk setups. Building on that momentum, YoloLiv’s R&D team was able to go a step further — developing its own 18mm F1.4 MFT lens, purpose-built for the YoloCam S7 system. The result, according to the company is “a perfectly tuned imaging system with exceptional optical performance — no more lens hunting, no compromises.”

The launch marks, YoloLiv adds, “a major milestone for us. It’s not just a new product — it’s the realization of a complete, professional ecosystem, shaped by user feedback at every stage.”

• The YoloLiv lens features a lightweight design paired with a bright F1.4 large aperture, allowing you to easily create a soft, smooth, and immersive background blur effect. Designed for the M43 mount, it supports both auto focus and manual focus.
• The lens adopts a 7-element in 7-groups optical structure (4 aspherical lens elements and 3 low dispersion elements) with a nano multi-layer coating process to improve image quality and reduce flare and ghosting.
• Equipped with 7 aperture blades, it offers an aperture range from F1.4 to F22. A stepper motor drive system ensures smooth and precise focusing performance.
• It supports 46mm filters (P=0.75), with a maximum diameter and length of φ63 × 73.7mm, a maximum magnification of 0.1×, and a minimum focusing distance of 0.19m.

The MSRP for the YoloLiv MFT Lens is $299 USD / €259 EUR and the lens will be available on YoloLiv official store, Amazon, and local distributors and resellers around the world, with an expected release date late March or early April.
