A few a few weeks earlier Victoria noted new 3D features in After Effects Beta: Save and share 3D models in Libraries, Import 3D models from Adobe Stock (free), Support for glTF files with DRACO compression, and glTF files load faster and use less memory during import. Jake In Motion later posted EASILY add Squash and Stretch to your animations with this After Effects preset! Jake shares his “rig that is independent of the scale property and gives even more control over the shape of the squash and stretch. This preset will allow you to rotate the layer prior to the distortion, essentially rotating the contents of the layer without affecting the orientation of the squash and stretch. It also allows you to skew the layer in any direction and has some other useful controls.”
