These humorous videos by the crazies at College Humor gives insight into the interpersonal politics of font families.

The first one is a debate about whether or not to add a font to the group:

Make sure you hang around until at least 2:08 for Century Gothic’s dismissive “I’m in a room full of sheep,” or 2:16 for when Wingdings steals the show.

This second one takes a more war-like approach to settling type choice differences:
