Discover the Canon C200 in Burbank

Mark August 22 in your calendar, and confirm your presence. An event organized by the Digital Cinema Society will reveal products from Canon, but also from many other names in the industry.

The invitation is clear: join the Digital Cinema Society to see the latest Canon camera, the C200, featuring in-camera 4K RAW recording capability, and the latest cameras from Canon, at Canon’s new technical service and support center in Burbank. August 22, from 7 until 9 PM, there will be a lot of activity at Canon’s new facility, built from the ground up to support cinema and photography professionals.

The meeting will be the opportunity to see the EOS C200, along with key support and accessories necessary to create a complete camera package. In fact, there are many components in addition to the camera that are necessary to assembling a successful Digital Cinema acquisition package. Equipment buyers sometimes put all their resources into the camera, and try to skimp on the proper support and accessories, which can greatly diminish the utility of their package. The event will be the place to clarify doubts and discover strategies, making light over this and other aspects of filmmaking.

In this Digital Cinema Society event, you’ll not only be able to experience Canon’s new facility, but also get a chance to see the latest offerings from a variety of companies including Cartoni, DJI, Manfrotto, MYT Works, Oconnor, Redrock Micro, Sachtler, Vocas and Wooden Camera.

You do not need to be a Digital Cinema Society member to attend, but RSVPs are mandatory. Just send an email to the society with Canon/Accessories in subject line. The meeting happens Tuesday evening, August 22nd,  6:30PM check in with presentations from 7PM to 9PM. The place is Canon Burbank, 3400 W. Olive Ave. #250, Burbank, CA 91505.

The Digital Cinema Society is a nonprofit educational cooperative dedicated to the industry’s informed integration of new technology. Formed in 2003, as an outgrowth of a pro bono documentary on the subject of Digital Cinema, the society now has an international membership of approximately 6,500 and count some of the top filmmaking, technology, and business leaders in the Entertainment Industry among our membership.
