Blackmagic Design just released a new update for its Blackmagic Camera app for Android, with support for new features and correction of some bugs. You can download it from Google Play store.
Since the introduction of Blackmagic Camera for Android by Blackmagic Design, the company has been updating the app, not only expanding compatibility with more smartphones, but adding feature an correcting bugs. There is a new version of the app, released today, continuing to improve a tool that was well received by the public when it was launched, in June 2024.
When the version 1.3 was released in September that year, Grant Petty, Blackmagic Design CEO said “Blackmagic Camera for Android has been incredibly popular since it was launched in June this year. We are excited to be able to continue expanding our support of Android phone models so even more customers can experience the same great controls for shooting digital film as our professional cameras. Plus, with the addition of timecode customers can use the Cut page sync bin to create a multi-cam edit faster than ever before.”
What’s new in Blackmagic Camera app (Version 3.2.0.0058) for Android 3.2:
- Support for custom live streaming targets.
- Support for streaming to third party platforms using SRT.
- Support for H.265 on supported Live Stream services.
- Addressed bad calibration on Zebra and False Color.
- General performance and stability improvements.
