According to Axle.ai this upgrade modernizes the platform from the ground up for better performance on both MacOS and Linux servers. Axle AI continues to provide easy-to-use MAM that actually fits how you work, with on premise AI. Here is what is new:

Major Axle AI MAM server upgrade for Linux and macOS, optimized for speed and scalability, supporting 4 million+ assets.
Modernized technology stack, delivering faster indexing, improved stability, and long-term platform support.
New Complete Semantic Search combining Scene Understanding, Speech-to-Text, Face Recognition, and OCR, with contextual Grid View.
Multi-language and UTF-8 character support in Complete Semantic Search, user interface, and custom metadata fields.
Enhanced media handling: better multi-track audio workflows, faster transcript editing, variable playback speeds up to 2x, and expanded closed captioning options.
Redesigned admin section with a modern UI, easier configuration and user management, improved tagging, and GPU status visibility.
Easier extensibility with new Swagger API documentation, support for adding ONNX custom AI models, and updated Connectr workflows.
Upgraded Premiere Pro panel for Mac and Windows, Upgraded Drag-and-Drop application for Resolve and Final Cut.
