After a youth and adolescence dominated by creative expression, Michael attended the prestigious Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, CA.
After an early career as a graphic designer, an overriding passion for cinema, specifically screenwriting and directing, inspired Michael to study filmmaking at USC and Hollywood's Sherwood Oaks College.

Michael successfully established himself as a professional screenwriter. His spec work has been optioned by independent producers, and a major studio, including Robert Anderson ("Passenger 57") at Warner Bros.
He has also been commissioned as a screenwriter-for-hire by producers and production companies in Hollywood and Los Angeles. Representation has included Robert Rosene at Artists First, and power attorney Jay L. Cooper of Greenberg Traurig.

Michael is currently developing an indie feature to be produced through his production banner, Milieu Films, and an episodic streaming series.
