Shop NowDeity D4RX debuts with PR-2ii recorder and TC-2 timecode at IBC 2026

Deity D4RX and two companion products, the PR-2ii recorder and the TC-2 timecode box, will be on public display at IBC 2026 as Deity Microphones demonstrates a unified production audio and timecode workflow. The Deity D4RX brings four discrete true-diversity channels with Global OneBand 550–960 MHz tuning, a swappable slot-style rear interface, encrypted digital audio, and extensive remote-control capability for paired transmitters.
At RAI Amsterdam the company will show the PR-2ii running production firmware, the TC-2 providing continuous wireless timecode and USB-C ATC timecode, and the THEOS D4RX receiver operating as the RF hub of the system. Demonstrations highlight dependable local recording on the PR-2ii, continuous synchronization from the TC-2, and four channels of professional reception through the D4RX.
Deity D4RX: Four-Channel True-Diversity Receiver
The Deity D4RX uses an eight-radio true-diversity architecture paired with front-end SAW filtering and Global OneBand wideband tuning to deliver flexible 550–960 MHz operation. The Deity D4RX’s slot-in configuration carries power and four channels of audio through one secure connection, making it easier to drop the receiver into camera slot docks, sound bag slots, and ENG camera workflows.
The D4RX supports swappable rear interfaces for professional analog outputs and AES3, remote control of paired transmitters (frequency, gain, RF power and internal 32-bit float recording) from more than 20 meters away, and LiveHit DeNoiser™ per-channel noise reduction. The receiver achieves up to 300% faster RF scans than previous generations, speeding setup on busy location shoots.
“The D4RX has been a long time coming, and reaching this first public showing has taken an enormous amount of hard work. Sound professionals asked for four channels, true diversity, professional outputs, slot compatibility, and wireless control. Their feedback helped shape the receiver people will see at IBC.”

PR-2ii: Protected Audio, Pocket-Sized
The PR-2ii is a wearable-first recorder designed to preserve audio that cannot be recreated. Shown at IBC with production firmware, the PR-2ii improves on the original PR-2 with 5.4 dB lower self-noise, +60% brighter display while still delivering more than 20 hours of battery life on two AA cells, IP54 dust and splash resistance, PSRAM-backed audio buffering, pre-recording, mark points metadata, and microSD support up to 1 TB.
PR-2ii records in 24-bit and 32-bit float modes, features dual-ADC cleaner preamps, built-in gain presets for common lavalier models, a soft-knee limiter, and Sidus Audio control for remote monitoring and configuration. The recorder accepts wired and wireless timecode and integrates into Deity’s timecode ecosystem.
TC-2: Continuous Bluetooth Timecode and Native 120 fps
The TC-2 refines the compact TC-1 form factor while adding continuous Bluetooth timecode that keeps multiple TC-2 units locked together in real time, eliminating frame drift between units within range. It is also the first portable timecode box to introduce native 120 fps timecode based on SMPTE ST 12-3 and supports ATC timecode over USB-C.
The TC-2 features an RP-SMA antenna with up to 70 meters range, a larger high-PPI AMOLED protected by 6H-rated glass, BitConnectify 1.0 support for single-pulse sync with legacy Deity devices, and Sidus Audio app integration for remote configuration and battery/status monitoring.
