Many video producers are strongly considering the new Blackmagic “Pocket” Cinema 4K camcorder, which I have covered in past articles. Many of them are trying to pick lenses for it based upon what they intuitively known based on prior experience, either with cinema Super 35mm or photographic 35mm, which are two different 35mm standards. Watch Tony Dae clarify the situation.
Do you prefer to calculate crop factor versus cinema Super 35mm or photographic 35mm? Let us know in the comments.
