In three years with it, I never saw the problems with my Osmo Pocket that you claim to have had other than the digital zoom not being too useful. Also, the color filters on the Luna Ultra can be used when shooting in i-log.

Thanks for reading. I love my OP3 and have used it on almost every shoot for the past 2 and half years. I found ISO1600 footage in lowlight too noisy for our clients. I probably should have swapped out battery handles by now to get something that holds a charge a bit better – on an 8-10 hour shoot I always need to top off charge at lunch. Great bag for the buck though.

The main thing I would like to see for professional use is audio monitoring through headphones. It’s nice to hear what your subject is saying if you are away from them. Also, it’s crucial to know the sound quality.

Agreed. But I ask myself are we pushing these type of cameras too far beyond their intended use case? With the OP3, I would use a Tentacle to jamsync and then use a second sound system- whether it is the Track E or Rode Wireless Pro. If the Luna allowed me to jamsync, I could easily see a Rode Wireless Pro recording on body and using the receiver to monitor via headphones. But are we asking too much form a $800 pocket camera?
