Laia launches the t-Joy Touch: the PTZ controller with a 10.1-inch touchscreen that streams, records and manages up to 2,048 devices with no PC required.
Designed for production environments that need professional results with minimal equipment – churches, city councils, universities and small-scale productions -, the new professional controller operates 100% standalone, combining camera control, multi-camera preview, RTMP streaming and local recording in a single device, with support for the market’s leading protocols —NDI, ONVIF, VISCA and Pelco— and 4K HDMI output.
The t-Joy Touch integrates in a single device a 10.1-inch touchscreen (1200×800), a precision joystick with physical pan, tilt and zoom control, and the capacity to connect and manage up to 2,048 devices, with simultaneous preview of up to 9 cameras. The result is a production station that is operational from the very first minute: no dedicated PC, no additional software, no mandatory external equipment.
Unlike conventional PTZ controllers, the Laia t-Joy Touch features native RTMP streaming and local recording to internal storage, expandable via USB or Micro-SD card. A single operator can control the cameras, stream live and record the signal simultaneously from the same device, eliminating the traditional chain of controller, streaming PC and capture software.
The 10.1-inch touchscreen displays up to 9 cameras simultaneously and allows real-time adjustment of angle, zoom and image parameters directly over the live signal. In addition, the HDMI (Type A) output with support for up to 4K 30fps sends the signal to an external monitor or projector, turning the t-Joy Touch into a complete production and preview solution.
According to Laia, The t-Joy Touch speaks the language of any installation. It supports the RTSP, RTMP, NDI, ONVIF, VISCA, VISCA IP, PELCO-P and PELCO-D protocols, and offers up to four connection modes: RS232, RS422, RS485 and IP networking over Gigabit Ethernet. This versatility allows it to be integrated both in new, fully IP installations and in existing infrastructures with serial cabling, without replacing equipment already deployed. It is also compatible with the industry’s leading platforms, including Blackmagic Design, vMix, Wowza and OBS.
