The Vitec Group plc, one of the world’s largest and most diverse media equipment suppliers, announced today that it is bringing no less than 19 separate product brands to NAB 2009, where it will create a ‘Vitec Village’ in the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center in Booths C6517, 8 & 9 and Booth C3707.
The Group will be making a series of new technology announcements across all of its product areas, which support creativity and communications in broadcast, cinema, photography, live events and related market sectors.
The Vitec Group Broadcast Systems Division products and services showcased at NAB will include an unmatched range of camera platforms, from manual and robotic tripods and pedestals to fluid heads and stabilizing systems. Vitec brands also offer accessories such as batteries, bags and on-camera lighting systems.
These product lines are complemented by voice communication, microwave connectivity and teleprompting systems, plus LED lighting systems for studio, location and live events. The product lines are backed up by a full range of service options.
“I am proud to say that as a Group, not only have we had the best year in our history, we have doubled in size over the last five years and are continuing to experience growth across a number of exciting new sectors,” says Joop Janssen, CEO of the Vitec Group’s Broadcast Systems Division.
“We are very encouraged to see that, despite the economic downturn, there is continuing investment in HD infrastructures, and also in ‘green’ technology such as the LED lighting systems developed under our Litepanels® brand,” adds Janssen.
“With just about every one of our brands offering identifiable ROI benefits and bringing new, ingenious solutions to NAB in direct response to market demands, we have a clear and confident commitment to the future.”
