AMSTERDAM—At IBC 2009, Cinegy (www.cinegy.com) will unveil the latest version ofcinegy workflow, its award-winning media asset management and archive solution, powered by a host of new features and improvements designed to help broadcasters, post houses and others improve their digital workflow and the underlying infrastructure.
Cinegy will be exhibiting at Stands 7.A3 and 7.A43. IBC will be held 10-15 September in Amsterdam.
Two new Cinegy modules will be introduced at the show—cinegy cinebridge, used to integrate popular third party applications intocinegy workflow, andcinegy gateway, used to convert SD and HD SDI streams into a broadcast quality SMPTE-compliant RTP/UDP streams and back. Cinegy will also unveil support for Panasonic’s AVC-Intra HD video format and a new graphical user interface for cinegy workflow.
“Broadcasters and post houses are looking forways to improve their digital production workflows while keeping costs to a minimum,” explained Cinegy Managing Director Daniella Weigner. “Cinegy appreciates those concerns and we are developing new tools and options designed to make digital workflows even more efficient and more cost effective. At IBC, we will demonstrate several new technologies that will significantly further those goals. The developments in IP infrastructure technology enable most of the expensive SDI cabling costs to be removed from the budget, while the increased efficiencies lead to a reduced operating expenditure over time.”
