Featuring a camera cluster with triple 200MP sensors, the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max takes a step further the promise from Oppo/Hasselblad : design tools for photographers and videographers.

The Honor Magic9 Pro Max, with its camera island inspired by the design language of one of ARRI’s most iconic cinema cameras, featuring a triple camera system built around dual 200MP and a 50MP sensor, coming out at the end of September, may look impressive, but the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max, which launched today in China, is equipped with a triple 200MP camera/lens cluster! 

The Oppo Find X10 series includes three models, the entry level Oppo Find X10 E, featuring, Oppo states, “ a Hasselblad ultra-high-resolution imaging system”, the Oppo Find X10, the standard edition, which introduces a first for a “normal” model – a dual 200MP sensor cluster – and finally the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max which is the new flagship from the company. 

Built in partnership with Hasselblad, the previous model Oppo model, Find X9 Ultra, features a new Hasselblad Master Camera System, with four cameras, designed as a tool for photographers and videographers. The Oppo Find X9 Ultra features a 50MP ultrawide (14mm) with a 1/1.95-inch sensor, a 200MP 1/1.12-inch main camera (23mm), a 200MP 3x telephoto (70mm) with a 1/1.28-inch sensor and a 50MP 10x telephoto (230mm), giving users, Oppo claims, 8 pro lenses – macro, 14mm, 23mm, 47mm, 70mm, 230mm and 460mm. Powered by the LUMO Image Engine, it captures, Oppo claims, “ultra-clear detail across eight precise focal lengths from 0.6x to 20x” adding “seamless transitions, uncompromising clarity — like carrying eight professional lenses in your pocket. Lift. Shoot. Create a masterpiece.” 

The Oppo Find X10 Pro Max now announced takes a different approach, and offers three 200MP sensors – a first for the industry -, for the wide lens, the telephoto and… the ultrawide, instead of the 50MP sensor used on the previous model. It’s and interesting change and it’s not just about the sensor cluster. The main sensor (wide) on the previous model was a 200MP Sony Lytia 901 1/1.12″ sensor paired with a 23mm f/1.5 lens but the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max features a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HPC, 1/1.3-inch announced recently and already in mass production. 

The ISOCELL HPC introduces the industry’s first DeepPix technology to redefine how light is captured. From richer HDR and lifelike colors to optimized image quality across every zoom level, setting a new benchmark for HDR in ultra-high-resolution mobile imaging. According to Samsung, the sensor “supports single-frame 16-bit HDR, delivering up to four times richer color expression than conventional HDR. From bright daylight to challenging backlit scenes, natural tones and subtle details of every image can be preserved. ISOCELL HPC also supports 4K video at up to 180 fps, enabling smoother slow-motion capture and more versatile video experiences while maintaining high image quality.” 

Samsung claims that “while most image sensors support HDR only at selected zoom ratios, the ISOCELL HPC extends single-frame HDR across 1×, 1.5×, 2×, 3×, and 4× in-sensor zoom. Leveraging intelligent in-sensor downscaling together, it maintains outstanding HDR performance throughout the zoom range. The result is enhanced HDR performance across more zoom ratios — all from a single image sensor.” 

Announced as a smartphone designed for content creation, the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max features 8K Log recording across the entire focal range. According to Oppo, the Find X10 Pro Max will support OpenGate capture across all cameras, using the full camera sensor to capture footage in a 4:3 aspect ratio, so users have more options when cropping the frame. The smartphone also offers seamless integration with the Blackmagic Camera app, bringing features such as O-Log2 and OpenGate capture directly to the app. 

Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro, the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max is one of the first models to use the new chip. The smartphone will also be compatible with accessories from Tilta, that designed the Khronos Creator Kit for the Oppo Find X9 Ultra. Oppo also announced that the Find X10 Pro Max will come with a Hasselblad teleconverter kit, customized for telephoto scenarios. The converter is also compatible with the Find X10. 

According to Oppo, the Find X10 Pro Max will be available globally.  The Pro Max will be available with 12GB or 16GB of memory and 256GB, 512GB or 1TB of capacity. The suggested retail price in China for the 16GB/1TB is 8,999 yuan, which translates to +/- $1,340.
