At Samsung, Gnecco leads the convergence of Mobile Devices and SmartTVs. He was founder and CEO of MOVL, a technology company acquired by Samsung that invented a platform enabling the creation of multi-screen, multi-user experiences. In his keynote, Gnecco will share his perspectives on what exciting new technologies and inventions are arriving on the media landscape that will further empower the art of cross platform and transmedia storytelling.
The TransVergence Summit is the first conference of its kind to bring together the talent, tools and technologies needed to create transmedia, branded content, over the top television and cross platform in order to immerse audiences and engage fans. Attendees will see the latest strategies and meet noted experts who work in transmedia and cross platform communication.

The first-ever Los Angeles Story Hackathon will be held in conjunction with the Summit. Produced in association with StoryCode (storycode.org), it will bring together participants from diverse backgrounds including film, technology, publishing, game design and theater to create a cohesive narrative across multiple platforms in 24 hours and present one for judging. This will provide Summit attendees with an up-close look at transmedia development in action.
