In addition to their long line of video and photo support gear, Manfrotto is now stepping deeper into the realm of LED lighting with their new line of 1×1 and on board camera lights.
There are 5 models of on board lights planned for release. They will come in a bi-color model, as well as a 100 count LED model, and different units that will utilise AA batteries. While details are sparse as of right now, the AA models will use anywhere from 4-6 AAs and run for about an hour at full power. The 1×1 LED lights will come in spot, flood, and bi-color versions and can be powered through an Anton Bauer or V-Mount battery, or through an A/C power supply.
These lights are stripped down versions of the usual LED production light, and do not possess DMX capability. This line of lights have been targeted toward the independent videographer, and Manfrotto encourages those looking for DMX capable lights to visit their sister company, Litepanels.
Manfrotto is looking at a July 1st release for this new line of LED lights, and plans on releasing some accessories specific to the line as well. Pricing will be announced within the next few weeks. Be sure to keep an eye out for more information on this new LED line at Manfrotto.us.
