Get Started Fast with Avid Media Composer 7: Lesson 3 1

If you've been thinking that Media Composer is a little to daunting to get started with, than part three of this five part series will get you up and running lightning quick!

In the third of our Get Started Fast with Avid Media Composer 7 tutorials, let’s get down and talk about what you’ve been waiting for.  Editing. In this lesson, I demonstrate basic editing technique in Avid Media Composer.  If you’re moving over from Final Cut Pro 7 or Adobe’s Premiere Pro, you’ll quickly see that the editing technique is very similar, and you’ll quickly see why most of the NLE’s out there take there cue’s from Avid when creating they non-linear editing applications..  Most basic editing lessons don’t cover much in the way of Audio, let alone audio mixing, so I’m going to show you how to do a quick music mix, as well as how to trim footage in your timeline like a pro. I’ll complete this lesson by showing how easy it is to create eye-catching titles. This lesson gives you the foundation to start working on any project that comes your way—fast.
