Nominated by ProVideo Coalition for a 2026 Best in Show Award, the new Deity PR-4 is the “world’s smallest 6-track field recorder” and features 4 inputs, 32-bit float, and the ability to dual record your media to an external SD card and an internal SSD. The PR-4 can also act as the central timecode unit, transmitting timecode wirelessly across devices and slates on your production, and bringing together recording and time code syncing capability into one device. You can also sync wirelessly through the Sidus Audio App. The recorder also supports AES3 and AES42 (Audio Engineering Society standards for digital signals) in addition to Mic and Line.

The unit features several brand new elements to make recording life easier, such as the new ReGain Preamp, delivering up to 60dB of gain, Voice Aware Automix, which selects active voices and creates a mix in real time,  and LiveHit DeNoiser, which isolates the human voice in noise environments. There are dual Arri-Style 1/4″ 20 mounts as well to help the unit be mounted.
