The update introduces native 4K output, clips up to 20 seconds at 24fps, 10-bit color depth, improved camera tracking, and better motion fidelity and lip synchronization.
SwitchX is a proprietary model that enables filmmakers and VFX artists to modify lighting, backgrounds, props, and other elements while preserving the original subject and performance. Now the company announces SwitchX 2.0, a major update to its video-to-video model.
The update now announced, which the company says is “the biggest upgrade to our video-to-video model” introduces native 4K output, clips up to 20 seconds at 24fps, 10-bit color depth, improved camera tracking, and better motion fidelity and lip synchronization.
“The core idea behind SwitchX has always been simple: change what you want while preserving what matters,” said Hoon Kim, Founder and CEO of Beeble. “With SwitchX 2.0, we’re extending that capability to longer, higher-quality sequences, giving filmmakers the confidence to use AI on increasingly ambitious productions.”
What’s new in SwitchX 2.0
● Native 4K output, increased from 1080p.
● Longer shots, increasing the maximum duration to 20 seconds at 24fps.
● 10-bit color depth, up from 8-bit.
● Improved camera tracking, enabling generated results to more closely match the camera movement of the source footage.
● Enhanced motion fidelity, with better handling of fast movement and lip synchronization.
● Up-res: A new high-resolution finishing workflow enabling faster, more credit-efficient iteration at 720p before returning to the original source footage to generate the final result at up to 4K, preserving the available source detail.
Beeble has also recently introduced a 3D Scene Generator, powered by World Labs, enabling artists to generate Gaussian splat environments from text, images, video, or panoramas, explore them in 3D, and capture shots up to 4 K resolution.
Other recent updates include Seedance 2.5 integration, SwitchHDR for converting SDR footage to 16-bit HDR EXR, and expanded image, video, and upscaling tools. These capabilities integrate with Canvas, Beeble’s node-based compositing environment, connecting generation, VFX, and finishing tools within a single workflow.
SwitchX 2.0 is available on the Beeble platform. To mark the launch, generations with this new model will be 50% off until September 23, 2026. For more information, visit beeble.ai.
