The addition of the FX Browser to almost every effect across Boris Continuum Complete makes picking the right look quick and easy!
One thing that I use (and most editors for that matter) more than anything in an effects bundle like Boris Continuum Complete is presets. They make your “getting started with” life so much easier. You don't have to worry about learning how to create a look with a new effect, you can simply pick the one you want, and you're off to the races. Problem is that in the past, Boris Continuum Compete users found themselves clicking through presets in the effect editor to find the right look. What would have made our lives much easier was if there was a visual way of doing the same job. Well, now there is! Coming in two flavors, integrated and standalone, the FX Browser has been designed to let you have a visual representation of each preset in a specific effect. As you create and save your own presets, these looks are added to the collection for you, or anyone else using your system, to use and be up and running with super quick! Now, I did mention that there were two flavors of the FX Browser. Integrated and Standalone. What's the difference, you ask? Simple. The integrated FX Browser is included in almost every effect across the whole bundle, but it only lets you see the presets from the specific effect that it is “integrated” into. The standalone browser let's you take a look at every preset across all the effects inside of BCC9, so if you have a producer/director who has no idea what they want, this option will give them plenty of optios to choose from.
