The show centers around a group of contestants divided into “traitors” and “faithfuls”, competing in challenges and navigating social alliances within a Scottish castle setting.

The editors discussed the unique nature of the show’s structure, noting that each season features new participants and missions, which creates a fresh dynamic every year.

“The truer versus faithful is the heart of the story, and that changes every year because we don’t know who’s going to win,” said Seddon-Brown.
