As most Media Composer editors are now aware, BCC is no longer included in your Media Composer Symphony upgrade. That's because with your monthly subscription, you are now getting Symphony included. But, that doesn't mean that you're without some awesome BCC effects to get you moving in the right direction.
As we saw in Part one of our look at the new BCC Lite plug-ins you get with your Media Composer monthly license, BCC Colorize and more specifically Lens Flare 3D are two plug-ins that you're going to find yourself going to over, and over again. Not only are the effects awesome, but with an effect like Lens Flare 3D, you also get a staggering amount of presets, as well as Compare Mode (to see before and after versions of your effects), and the FX Browser, that works in conjunction with your presets, to give you a visual representation of what the standard presets look like, as well as any presets you create on your own. In Part 2 of our look at BCC Lite, we're going to look at BCC Scanlines, and see how easy it is to create a damaged TV look quickly and easily, and then we'll take a look at the transition of the group, and why BCC Swish Pan is more than just a simple one trick pony!
