Discounts on After Effects World and Adobe MAX

In addition to the free Moviola webinar on creativity Chris is presenting next week, we’re both speaking at the upcoming After Effects World and Adobe MAX conferences:

After Effects World – Seattle, September 26-28 – is a relatively intimate conference (100-200 attendees) devoted to the program we’ve based our careers around the past 20+ years. Seattle is home of the After Effects team, and the entire first day is devoted to presentations from the engineers, designers, and developers. The next two days, the two of us are among a line-up of well-known users and trainers; Chris will be presenting Roto Brush + Refine Edge, render order issues, and new features in After Effects CC, while Trish will be giving a special session on taking your After Effects designs into the physical world by turning them into works of fine art. Then we’ll both talk about the business of motion graphics. When you register, use the customer code FMC on the last page of the registration process to save $100.

Adobe MAX – Los Angeles, October 4-8 – is at the other end of the spectrum with over 5000 attendees, huge keynotes and parties, and presentations on everything Adobe from print to photography to audio to the web to digital publishing to even 3D Printing (as well as video, of course). Trish is presenting a hands-on lab on understanding text animators plus a session on going beyond simple keyframes, while Chris is presenting a hands-on lab on enhancing production value using After Effects and Premiere Pro plus a session on creating a quick flying logo using After Effects and C4D Lite (see a list of all sessions here). Early bird pricing has been extended until the end of August; it’s a $400 savings on registering on site.

As long as we’re tossing around the discounts, if you can’t make it to either event, we have 45 video training courses on lynda.com; if you’re not already a subscriber, go to lynda.com/go/chrisandtrish to get the first seven days of your subscription for free. If you don’t like what you see, cancel before the seven days are up.
