IBC is almost here, and that means it’s SuperMeet Time, and this one is shaping up to THE event of IBC. Beyond the opportunity to meet and visit with your fellow filmmakers from around the world, you’ll also get to interact with Philip Bloom and Jason Levine of Adobe Systems, Editor Eddie Hamilton (X-MEN: FIRST CLASS) for Avid, Michael Wohl on FCPX, Autodesk & others.

Here’s a bit more for the guys at FCPUGSuperMeet:

Join the FCPUG Network, including Final Cut Pro and digital video user groups from within the US, Europe and the world over in Amsterdam for the largest gathering of creative and collaborative editors, HDSLRfilmmakers, digital content creators and Gurus during IBC 2010.

Enjoy a few cocktails, network and party with industry peers while learning latest trends in collaborative editing workflows.

If you’re not familiar with the FCPU SuperMeets, they are usually one of the best events of any of the major trade shows, and they also have one of the BEST RAFFLES ever. Handing out all those prizes could be an evening unto itself, and with that many prizes, the likelihood you’ll walk away with something is pretty high.
