Four filter models will be released on September 30, 2026: the Sigma WR Ceramic Protector PTC-21, a ceramic protector offering exceptional impact resistance; the Sigma WR Protector + UV PUV-21, featuring UV protection and water- and oil-repellent coating; the standard Sigma Protector LPT-21; and the Sigma WR Circular PL Filter CPL-21, a circular polarizing filter with water- and oil-repellent coating.
According to Sigma, a part of this renewal, the entire lineup has been redesigned from the ground up to further minimize impact on image quality while enhancing overall usability. Improvements to the surface treatment of the filter frames reduce internal reflections compared to previous models, while an optimized design has enabled a slimmer profile for the large-diameter 95mm and 105mm sizes.
Compatibility with all Sigma lenses has been fully verified, allowing for worry-free shooting without vignetting, even when using ultra-wide-angle lenses. Despite the slim design, these filters ensure secure lens cap attachment, providing users with peace of mind.
