New firmware updates for Canon Cinema EOS cameras now availableThe new update gives customers “bleeding-edge features” to the Canon EOS C400, C70, C80 and R5C cameras, from full frame 3:2 open gate recording to improved assign buttons and other features.

Canon announced  the release of a variety of firmware updates for key models in its Cinema EOS and professional camcorder line of cameras, including enabling connectivity to Frame.io’s Camera to Cloud ecosystem in select cameras. Also, Version 1.2 of the Canon Multi-Camera Control App for iPhone and iPad is available from the App Store. All updates are a direct result of customer feedback and are now available through free downloads. To access and download the latest firmware updates, customers can check the product page on Canon’s website.
