Nanlite announces new powerful FC 1200 LED spotlights

Nanlite announces new powerful FC 1200 LED spotlightsWith a rated power of 1350 watts, the new Nanlite FC-1200B and FC-1200C combine high illuminance, intuitive operation and an all-in-one design with budget-friendly prices.

High-output LED fixtures above 1000W are becoming increasingly accessible beyond traditional high-end cinema productions, providing the power needed for larger spaces, larger modifiers and more flexible lighting setups. With a rated power of 1350W and output of 1200W, the new Nanlite FC-1200B and FC-1200C combine high illuminance, intuitive operation and an all-in-one design for applications such as multi-person interviews, livestreaming, product photography and portraits.

As the model names imply, the FC-1200C is a full-color spotlight, and the FC-1200B is bi-color. Both are the same size, with the FC-1200C weighing just a smudge more at 22.3 pounds (10.13 kg) compared to the CF-1200B’s 22.1 pounds (10 kg). The power supply for these lights weighs nothing because they do not exist. They are both all-in-one fixtures, which means you just plug the light head directly into a standard AC outlet. It’s one less thing to carry around, set up, and tear down.

The bi-color FC-1200B delivers up to 15,620 lux at 3 m with the included 45° reflector and offers a color temperature range of 2700K to 6500K. With an average CRI of 96 and TLCI of 98, it is designed to provide accurate white light across its temperature range.

For productions requiring both white and colored light, the FC-1200C uses Nanlite’sanlite’s Nebula C4 color light engine. It delivers up to 14,220 lux at 3 m with the 45° reflector and provides a wide 2400K to 12,000K CCT range with ±150 green/magenta adjustment. CCT, HSI, RGBW, Gel and Effect modes provide flexibility for matching existing light or creating colored lighting directly from the fixture.

A Bowens mount provides compatibility with a broad range of commonly used light modifiers. Control is available directly on the fixture, through the NANLINK App 2.0 or via DMX/RDM, while NFC can be used for quick configuration. Both models also offer four fan modes, with noise levels as low as approximately 26 dB(A) in Smart mode.

The FC-1200B and FC-1200C become the most powerful fixtures in the Nanlite FC series. The range now spans models from 78W to 1350W, with both bi-color and full-color options for productions ranging from compact setups to larger studio and location work.

The new Nanlite LED are available now, with the FC-1200B LED Bi-Color Spotlight costing $1,290.00 and the FC-1200C LED RGBW Spotlight $1,490.00.
