MOZA Mini-MI, the world’s first wireless phone charging gimbal

MOZA Mini-MI, the world’s first wireless phone charging gimbal

The new MOZA Mini-MI smartphone gimbal is to be paired with the MOZA app, which the company behind he product says opens professional cinematic functions on your phone. See it at CES 2019.

Soon to be unveiled at CES 2019, which takes place in Las Vegas, from 8 until 11 January, the new MOZA Mini-MI smartphone gimbal aims to be more than just another gimbal. The new product from the Chinese company Gudsen Technology features independent control system for each axis; Roll, Yaw, and Pitch. These axes can be controlled individually by 8 follow modes, giving you the same professional functionality that comes from MOZA’s advance control technology. Use one or all of the eight follow modes to capture smooth cinematic motion.

The gimbal, which also includes the flexibility of manual positioning to give you more freedom to unleash your creativity, is even able to do amazing Dutch Tilt shots. In fact, the Mini-MI can achieve 360° rotation in roll axis without limits, so you go from a slow Dutch tilt to a quick pan. With unlimited range of movement, says Gudsen Technology, “the Mini-MI offers cinematic potential as unlimited as your imagination.“

The MOZA AirCross gimbal

A gimbal that charges your phone

Designed to be user friendly, the Mini-MI’s advanced software technology allows a user to setup the gimbal’s roll arm to either side. Right or left side, you decide which side to mount your phone on. Conceived to support smarphones, it can be more than a hand held gimbal, thanks to the accessory mounts present, a total of four. The smartphone mount has two of the ¼ mounts that can be found on the top and bottom for a light or microphone. The last two ¼ mounts can be found on the handgrip and the bottom of the handgrip, ideal for mounting to a tripod or extension pole.

The Mini-MI lets you charge your mobile phone wirelessly – if they are compatible – simply by setting it on the gimbal. MOZA has also developed an optional wireless charger designed for other phones. Now you can enjoy the convenience of wireless charging anywhere anytime during your shooting projects. The gimbal, priced at $99, will be one of the highlights of Gudsen Technology presence at CES 2019, presented as a functional smartphone stabilizer designed to be flexible, compact and user-friendly but packed with features included in the Mini-series.

New MOZA Air 2

The company will also have on show other products from their range, including the MOZA Air 2 3-Axis Handheld Gimbal Stabilizer, which has been upgraded over previous versions with newly optimized high-torque motors, a 9.25 lb weight capacity, and many other features. The high weight capacity allows for a much wider range of cameras to be used, as well as wider combinations of cameras and lenses. The Air 2 also supports the optional MOZA iFOCUS Intelligent Wireless Lens Control System, which comes in different versions to offer standard and automatic (with preset start/end points) focus and zoom control directly from the Air 2.

The MOZA AirCross and MOZA Air products will also be on show at CES 2019. The MOZA AirCross is equipped with unlimited power source for camera and gimbal, which enables your device for all day use. Its inception mode and sport gear mode can create dreamlike and cinematic footage.  Similarly, the MOZA Air can capture cinematic videos and create professional film productions. The 3-axis handheld gimbal has been designed to carry all mirrorless cameras and DSLRs, delivering smooth and stable shots for more professional cinematography.
