Renowned for the design and engineering proficiency found behind many of broadcast’s leading names, BHV is leveraging its expertise to bring its own-branded compact high-quality switcher to market. The company will showcase its new SportsBox remote vision mixer and picture processor at ISE in Booth #4H900 marking its official introduction into the Pro AV and systems integration environment.
According to BHV, SportsBox delivers reliable performance from a small package. Measuring just 17 x 22 x 3cms, SportsBox is uniquely capable of simultaneously transporting all four video channels over a single baseband link – such as COFDM – providing a gallery preview of four cameras, ideal for remote operation. The unit offers full 4-channel 12G-SDI inputs supporting 4K/4:2:2 video and embedded audio enabling high-quality production in live setups including sport events, boardrooms, training spaces, venues and eSports arenas.
“As Pro AV productions become more sophisticated, they need the tools that deliver broadcast-quality results without adding complexity,” says BHV CTO Bill Garrett. “SportsBox offers professional switching and processing, including PIP, in a compact, remote-ready unit weighing just a few hundred grams – easy to integrate and deploy across a wide range of applications.”
SportsBox is based on software-defined architecture that allows deployment customisation with a feature roadmap that includes HDR support and IP video transport.
The launch of SportsBox marks the first in a series of branded products BHV is bringing to field production and OB applications. ISE attendees can see SportsBox in action at Booth 4H90 at ISE 2026, which runs from 3 to 6 February at Fira de Barcelona Gran Via, in Barcelona, Spain..
