At a time when virtually every company is using a mix of legacy hardware and software-defined technology, and SDI and IP connectivity, FOR-A’s world-leading solutions enhance creativity, productivity and cost-effectiveness, in products and systems which deliver real value today. The company will use its presence at IBC2026 (stand 2.B53) to show how its products deliver the answers to the real challenges faced by broadcasters and media companies today.
The company has now shared information about what IBC2026 attendees can find at its stand:
Typical of the issues facing broadcasters and production companies is the need to deliver multiple versions of the content to different formats and technical specifications, often in real time. MixBoard, a software-based switcher powered by ClassX, is more than just an integrated audio and video mixer: it incorporates the ability to generate cropped versions for different aspect ratios, and to stream outputs in multiple formats for broadcast and online services. As a software platform, MixBoard benefits from continuing enhancements, and IBC2026 will see the first showing of its comprehensive control for PTZ cameras.
“viztrick AiDi was developed in response to the practical challenges we face in day-to-day content production,” said Takayuki Shinoda, Associate Managing Director, Global Strategy Headquarters, Nippon TV. “Our approach to AI is straightforward: it should solve real operational needs while enabling production teams to remain focused on creativity. Through our partnership with FOR-A, we are delighted to make this practical, on-device technology available to broadcasters and content producers around the world. I look forward to joining FOR-A at IBC and speaking with visitors about how AiDi can support their production needs.”
Aimed at solving the real-world problems systems architects face today as they implement increasingly complex software-defined environments, Hi-RDS goes a long way to simplifying network design. Typical Registration and Discovery Systems (RDS) allow each node to be incorporated in just one RDS. Hi-RDS – hierarchical RDS – adds a primary RDS layer which then manages each node on the operational layers, making it simple to pass content between operational areas, between different vendors’ technologies and between formats.
“Broadcasters and production companies are no longer bound by technology: they demand the freedom to create their own distinctive content,” said Fabio Varolo, sales manager, FOR-A Europe. “Our success lies in helping companies make the best of their current assets, combined with carefully targeted investments, to realize their ambitions without limitations.
“IBC is a very important show for us, and this year we are focusing on showing how we can help build complete systems and solutions for our customers,” Varolo added. “Our partnerships with industry leaders including Nippon TV, ClassX, Dejero and Brainstorm, added to our long history of innovation, give us a real insight into the challenges facing the media business and how we can help them.”
