Normally I probably wouldn’t post an announcement about the formation of a new user group since there are film/video user groups all over the country but this one is just down the road a couple of hours from my home turf so I wanted to point it out. Atlanta Cutters, Atlanta’s post-production group will have their first meeting on Wednesday, July 27. You can register here.
The event kicks off at 6:00 pm with the actual meeting scheduled from 7:00 – 10:00. It’ll be held at Turner Studios (1000 Techwood Drive NW, Atlanta) and includes a raffle after the meeting.

I like that second half discussion as that’ll be interesting in the wake of the Final Cut Pro X release. Interesting that we don’t see Apple on that list … not that they would have attended anyway.
