Final Cut Pro user? Head to NAB 2026 1

If you’re a Final Cut Pro editor and you want to up your skills with some great in-person training, plan on attending NAB 2026 and registering for Post|Production World. A recent update to the FCP Creative Summit website provided us some news:

Apple is partnering with FMC on an exclusive Final Cut Pro track at Post|Production World during NAB.

While PPW has always had a number of different tracks (I’m guessing AI will be one of the most sought after tracks at PPW 26) a dedicated Final Cut Pro track is something new and looks to be taking the place of the FCP Creative Summit. As one who has spent many years teaching about post-production at NAB Post|Production World, I can attest to the quality of instructors and how valuable in-person learning can be. I love the event and I look forward to learning more about FCP myself!

For years now, the FCP Creative Summit has been its own event held near Apple’s campus in Cupertino, CA. The FCP Creative Summit began in 2015 and has been held in varying forms through 2024. PVC has covered it many years and has even been on the ground at the event.

We’re overdue for an FCP update so will we see a new version of Final Cut Pro on or before NAB 2026? Only Apple knows for sure.

While registration for NAB 2026 is now open, keep an eye toward the Post|Production World website for updates about the different PPW tracks, classes and, specifically, the FCP Creative Summit.
