On the evening of August 5, 2008, the Digital Cinema Society Northern California Chapter will come together to examine workflows for both the Sony XDCAM EX and RED One Cameras. Adobe will present native XDCAM EX editing workflow using Premiere Pro CS3 and other CS3 software, give the latest details on their Cinema DNG initiative, and discuss (maybe even demonstrate) native RED support in Adobe apps. Art Adams will present RED Build 16, color correcting RED, and his Wii spec spot; and Adam Wilt will talk about the EX1 and EX3 camcorders.
Adam will bring an EX1 and EX3, and Leigh Blicher of Videofax will supply an EX1, and EX3, and a RED ONE, so you’ll get a chance to see these cameras up close.
When: 6:30-9:15pm, Tuesday, August 5. (Doors open at 6:00).
