In the most recent CapicúaFM episode, we reviewed the definition of Stockholm Syndrome, the famous 1973 kidnapping case & bank robbery that inspired its name, and the fact that the FBI has determined that 8% of all kidnapping victims fall into it. The three participants: Spaniard linguist, singer and voiceover talent María Esnoz, «Jaimito» (the AI sidekick I covered in Creating a Little-Johnny type character for radio & podcast shows: image + voice) and I all illustrated through an interactive radio sketch why I believe that the US Keyboard Syndrome to be so similar to Stockholm Syndrome, since in both cases, the victim protects and defends the captor.
