The 17th LA Shorts Fest is accepting film submissions. Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences accredited. We are the only film festival with seven award categories recognized by the Academy. In the past, 44 films have received Oscar nominations with 13 winning the coveted Oscar statue. The Festival annually attracts more than 7,000 moviegoers, filmmakers and entertainment professionals looking for the hottest new talent.
