Blackmagic Camera for iOS adds support for live streaming

Blackmagic Camera for iOS adds support for live streaming 1

Blackmagic Camera for iOS 3.2 adds support for live streaming directly to Twitch, Vimeo and YouTube. This makes it easier to go live straight from your iPhone, without needing any additional hardware or third-party apps, together with the fine professional adjustments available from Blackmagic Camera, but not the amateur apps provided by some of the platforms. Whether you’re streaming to Twitch, Vimeo or YouTube, you can quickly select your platform, enter your stream key and start broadcasting with detailed professional settings.

This update also adds support for SRT streaming from Blackmagic Camera for iOS, allowing you to send high quality, low latency video directly to devices such as the Blackmagic Streaming Decoder, or to other SRT compatible systems in broadcast and production environments. That makes it perfect for remote production, news gathering or live event coverage.

In addition, there are now more detailed notifications when using external storage, so you’ll immediately see alerts if a drive is removed during recording, standby or upload, making it easier to manage your media on set.

Blackmagic Camera for iOS 3.2 is available now as a free download from here.
