Attend a Panel Discussion About the Merging of Production and Post at the Atlanta Creative Ball 1

The evolution of digital production has brought about a cosmic shift in the “traditional roles” of Production and Post.  No longer separated by time and distance, now many aspects of Post are done almost simultaneously to production and very often right on set.   We’re seeing a completely merging of the Production and Post workflow from basic video projects to television shows all the way to feature films.   Join us for what will be a great open discussion on the evolving roles and what this means for ‘traditional post production’ moving forward.

We’re thrilled to welcome back Editor Alan Bell (The Hunger Games Trilogy, Spiderman, Butter and many more).  We’re excited to finally get Editor Monica Daniel (The Nerdist, The Oscars, Still Screaming) to the ATL as she has been a major fixture in the LA Post world for quite some time.  Editor Scott Simmons (EditBlog, Music Videos, ProVideo Cooalition) is constantly testing, evaluation and reviewing new products for both Post and Production along with turning around projects, he’ll join us to moderate the panel.  Kenneth Brady is the Senior VP of Media Technology and Operations for Turner Broadcasting System, Inc.  He is currently leading initiatives to unify Turner’s operations around content storage, metadata enhancement, media preparation, and globalized distribution.

On Saturday night, November 8th, we invite you to come enjoy some Good Eats, Drinks, Networking with your fellow Creatives, meet up with our incredible sponsors and mingle with our Panel.  This is a party y’all.  You just come as you are and we’ll supply the fun.  Seriously, this is NOT a formal event, it’s a just a good old fashioned fun time.

Everyone gets an equal shot at a prize in the General Raffle, so you just might walk home a winner!  New for 2014, we’re adding a Premium Raffle with some top end production items. In 2013 we gave away over $30,000 worth of prizes including a BMCC, FSI 50″ monitor, Avid Media Composer, Adobe Creative Cloud Subscription, GlideCams and a ton of other software and plug-ins.  We’re going to try our hardest to top that in 2014.
