Aputure releases the Spotlight Mount II and accessories

Optimized for use with the STORM 400x and STORM 700x, the new Spotlight Mount II offers higher brightness and an advanced new optical design.
The new Spotlight Mount II ellipsoidal projector as four lenses available: 19°, 26°, 36°, and the ultra wide 50°. Aputure says that “the Spotlight Mount II features a rotating barrel for precision alignment and an advanced new optical design for higher brightness with a sharp, even beam. B-size gobos are accepted in metal or glass, expanding the projection options remarkably.”
“Aputure has dramatically improved our game with the Spotlight Mount II,” explains Mitch Gross, Aputure Director of Marketing. “We looked at all of the feature requests clients have made and completely overhauled the design of the projector. The new optical design is significantly brighter with a more even beam when used with our modern STORM 400x and 700x lights. The barrel fully rotates for precise alignment of cuts and gobos. The lens range has expanded to four lenses from 19° all the way out to an ultra wide 50°, which is useful when working in tight spaces. By accepting both metal and now glass gobos the Spotlight Mount II can project far more varied and complex lighting effects. All of this while maintaining the same basic size and weight of the original Spotlight Mount.”
The Aputure Spotlight Mount II is available for purchase with any one of its four lenses included along with a soft case. Additional lenses can be purchased and include a soft case, plus there is a 3-lens case available so the entire kit can be contained in two hard cases. The Spotlight Mount II accepts B-sized gobos in both metal and glass, and it is compatible with the same optional 18-leaf iris as the original Spotlight Mount.
The Spotlight Mount II has a price of $299.00 with any of the four lenses (19°, 26°, 36°, 50°) in a soft case and a $629.00 price as a kit, which next to the chosen lens also includes a Gel Holder, Gobo Holder, four Gobos, Safety Chain and Hard Case. Accessories available include:
