Who do you trust outside of the enterprize?

Every week there seems to be a new application vying for our attention and a piece of our personal social graph. In the attention economy, the clever systems will garner stickiness from the users. I must admit, like most I loathe the backing up process, and having a central repository where everything I do on and offline is captured and I am able to access that data anywhere in the world, is a bonus.

This is where I believe trust networks will come into there own, data portability, ease of use and security. With that in mind I have been playing around with a couple of systems this week, all of which cover my requirements, its just that issue of trust, which stops me from fully loading up everything I have and am on the Internet. When someone cracks the trust factor, the computer as we know it will become a thing of the past.

Roozani let’s you organize all your information in one central location. Store Bookmarks, Images, Documents, Serial Numbers, Notes, Passwords and more, tag them and share them with your friends and co-workers.

Roozani organizes your information with “Tags”, thus allowing you to identify your information the way you want it!

Access your Information everywhere

The biggest issues with your personal information is that it is never available when you need them most. With Roozani you are not bound to a web application. You can access your information with any web browser, your mobile phone and or with eMail and Text Messages. Actually you can even add all your information with these methods as well!

Share and Collaborate

How many times have you wished you could share your information with your spouse, friends and co-workers? Roozani allows you to do just that in a very simple way.

All the information you are tagging can be summarized in “Tag Collections”. These Tag Collection can then be made accessible to the public, your friends or only to your self.

foldier is the web-based tool for searching, aggregating, organizing and sharing personal content, whether it’s on a personal hard drive or in a Web application.

We have the ultimate operating platform in the Internet. Since there are plenty of interesting applications created every day, what we really need is a way to organize ourselves by capturing references to all our content in one “place”. And we must be able to access and share our content quickly, however much we generate. Most of all, as our content and the underlying data expand, they must be completely searchable.

This is why Michele Ursino established foldier. No matter how many networks and applications a person joins, foldier will scale to include new content organized within a taxonomy created by the content’s owner. The technology (patents pending) links services and applications organically, over the Web, so that people can use them, and the Internet, in the way that suits them best.

foldier works on top of existing technologies to operate through a single web interface. The interface collects and distributes pre-designated information across all types of digital media as well as conventional desktop storage systems. Using search based criteria, foldier “grabs” data precisely and organizes it following the user’s rules, regardless of the original location of the data, keeping everyone’s files updated with the same version. In less than five minutes, the technology enables a person to create a foldier account, install it on a hard drive and begin capturing and sharing all kinds of information. Members can even create RSS feeds to make select content publicly accessible.
