WebDAM Solutions, the leading provider of web-based digital asset management (DAM), today announced strong momentum as it surpassed Q2 revenue goals, doubled year-over-year sales, and doubled its headcount in Silicon Valley. Several key factors played a role in the company’s ongoing success, including significant product innovations, leveraging strategic partnerships, and the launch of customer success programs.

In Q2 of 2012, WebDAM welcomed new customers including Intel, New Balance, Micron, Lutronic, UC Berkeley, Penn Medicine, University of San Diego, and a leading Fortune 500 luxury clothing company, among many others. Enterprises continuously select WebDAM as their provider for centralized digital assets, improved collaboration and brand management, and secure anytime-anywhere web access to their creative files.

“We have found that WebDAM meets our needs perfectly,” said Michael Shattuck, Photography Process Lead at New Balance. “For file sharing, we have found that organization and security are simple to manage – even with many users and groups. Our external clients have been thrilled with WebDAM, especially the flexibility of asset delivery options.”

Eric Barth, Director of Photography at Micron Technology adds, “We chose WebDAM because it provides the enterprise-level security, reliability and scalability we need to meet our company’s needs around the world. Plus WebDAM provides personalized service to help answer our questions and build a successful asset management system.”

In addition to the record-breaking volume of new customers, WebDAM achieved a 100% customer retention rate in Q2 of 2012, paired with an already aggressive product roadmap.

“We are committed to making WebDAM a product that people want to use at work. And, we are excited about the innovative ways in which new customers are using WebDAM to enhance marketing and creative tasks,” said WebDAM CEO Steve Rabkin. “As the volume of digital assets continues to grow, corporate enterprises with distributed workforces immediately benefit from using WebDAM. Their work becomes faster, easier, and more cost-efficient.”

Industry Recognition:

“2012 has been a great year. When WebDAM first launched nearly eight years ago, enterprise marketing departments remained skeptical about using cloud technology to centralize valuable digital media,” said Jody Vandergriff, Co-Founder and President of WebDAM. “Today, they are knocking down our doors and the inevitable trend has brought valuable enterprise marketing initiatives and opportunities to most Fortune 1000 companies.”
