If you been a Final Cut Pro users for any real length of time you’ve probably heard of FCS Maintenance Pack, that was a suite of tools from Digital Rebellion to help diagnose and fix Final Cut Studio issues. Recently Digital Rebellion has been making their tools less FCP centric (and the FCPX update probably accelerated that) and have done away with FCS Maintenance Pack and have replaced it with Pro Maintenance Tools.
This upgrade takes the suite of tools and adds support and applications for both Adobe Premiere Pro as well as Avid Media Composer. The $139 suite includes the tools that support all of the 3 big A applications. Obviously certain apps only support certain applications but if you’re running in a multi-NLE environment then it’s nice to see everything that Pro Maintenance Tools includes.
