• The HPA Technology Retreat happens February 17-20 in Palm Springs, and there’s still time to register. It ain’t cheap, but it’s probably the most information-packed and thought-provoking TV-tech conference in the world. Links below for last year’s coverage.

NAB isn’t just a show; there’s a whole raft of conferences and seminars before and during the expo. Check it out; looking at the website is free, grin, even if the conferences aren’t. BTW, this can be a handy time to pick up vendor training: Apple, Adobe, and Avid are all holding classes in the “Post|Production World Conference”.
