A few years back, Tony Gallardo decided that he wanted to try to find ways to become less dependent on After Effects. As part of his journey, he started studying Blackmagic Design’s Fusion. Whereas many Fusion users are focused on VFX, Tony’s day-to-day job relies heavily on motion graphics.
In this presentation, Tony walks us through how to use Fusion to accomplish many of the same tasks often done in After Effects. For example, he talks about the Fusion equivalents to masks and solids. In addition, he talks about how to do Element 3D style graphics without any 3rd party plugins. Perhaps most importantly, he talks about how to quickly turn around revisions.
