The latest Canon cameras and lenses were on display for all to see at the event over at Loyal Studios Burbank for the Canon EOS Hands-on Workflow Q&A. The gathered audience, sponsored by Band Pro, was able to take a look at their new EOS C500 camera along with every other EOS camera that is currently available. The live capture demonstration featured both green screen and variable lighting situations with the live models along with a casual atmosphere that encouraged the audience to try out the cameras and ask poignant questions of the experts that were on-hand.

Larry Thorpe, Canon USA Senior Fellow; Tim Smith, Canon USA Adviser, Film & TV; and Felix Alcala, Canon Explorer of Light, Director (TV&Film) talked to the gathered audience about the products and about where Canon is looking to go with them. They were also available to offer their expertise regarding the products and dealt with other questions that had to do with the state of the Film & TV industry in general.

“This is the first time we’re showing all of our products in one place,” Smith said. “We’re showing off three of the new primes and two zooms that have been added to the family over the last few months. We’ve introduced six cameras and eight new lenses since the beginning of November last year which is proof of how committed we are to the Cinema industry.”
