At NAB 2017 SmallHD announced their new Focus 5 inch, on-camera monitor. This new monitor is daylight viewable with 800nit of brightness, has a touch screen, and its battery power source can be directed to a mirrorless or DSLR camera. Considering the Focus 5 inch monitor only draws 6 watts of power the Sony battery should last a good length time.
