Matt Jeppsen and the Black & Blue Blog's Evan Luzi stopped by the Andra booth to talk with Sam Fisher, CIO of Cinema Control Laboratories, about the revolutionary product they were showing off at NAB.
Andra Motion Focus system is a combination of a motion capture system and a remote focus pulling system. Using a small mo-cap system, the product can accurately track subjects and cameras in real time, which is then used by the lens control motor. The mo-cap devices can be mounted to the performer beneath clothing and be as invisible and unnoticeable as a microphone.
