In only a couple of years the 'transmedia' movement has seen the emergence of a worldwide network of groups that I believe help propel the artform forward. I've been an active member of the Los Angeles Transmedia Meetup, where I've presented, listened and learned. And in October, I had the distinct privilege of giving a talk at Story Code, the New York chapter. It was friendly, but not as funky as LA, owing to the fact that one of their members was able to get a sleek meeting room at the headquarters of Ogilvy & Mather.
