Apr 20, 2009 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) —OTEX|Quote|Chart|News|PowerRating— Endeca Technologies, a search applications company, and Open Text, a provider of Enterprise Content Management (ECM), have formalized partnership to deliver Endeca’s Digital Asset Navigator solution on Open Text Digital Media Group’s Enterprise Media Management Solution.
The companies said the joint offering is designed to provide media, publishing and retail organizations with an ability to cut costs and streamline operations by reusing existing digital assets, such as audio, video, and images that are stored in house instead of recreating or purchasing new assets.
Open Text is a supplier of enterprise Digital Asset Management solutions, offered as part of the Open Text ECM Suite. Open Text said its Digital Asset Management solutions are the choice of leading companiesaround the world, including BBC, Wal-Mart, Time, Paramount, HBO and Discovery Communications, among many others.
