Rumour has it that IBM has decided to make MediaBeacon their DAM solution provider around their next generation WCM and Portal strategy with Websphere Portal and the Lotus Web Content Management products.
Sources close to the launch scheduled forThe Exceptional Web Experience – IBM Portal Excellence Conference 2010 19th – 22nd July, hear that IBM evaluated a number of DAM vendors before settling with MediaBeacon, based mainly on open standards and ease of integration. We understand also that this is asingle sign onmovement of assets from MediaBeacon into WCM.
Currently, they are showing as an exhibitor at the event.
